An old fashion, traditional style fruit cake. Full of dried fruits and a generous splash of brandy.
Keeps very well and makes either an excellent afternoon tea cake or dessert. Made from scratch using primarily non-commercial food ingredients.
Ingredients
Dried fruit 48% [sultanas 16%, currants 11%, raisins 11%, mixed peel 5.4% (orange peel 57%, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, acidity regulator (citric acid (330), cherries 2.7% (colour (120), dried apricots 2.7% (rice flour .5%), perservative (202, 220), vegetable oil], wheaten flour [raising agents (339, 341, 450, 500), vitamin (thiamin, folic acid)], brown sugar, salted butter, egg, brandy 5.4% [natural flavour, sugarcane spirit, water (alcohol 50%)], water, treacle, sodium bicarbonate (500), salt [potassum iodiate].
Allergens: May contain traces of peanuts and/or other nuts. We pride ourselves of making a well fruited product. If this does contain fruit/nuts please be aware they were mechanically processed and there may be a rare piece of stone/shell.
